The Economic Research Organization supports academic research in economics and other social sciences. We bring together research, education, and shared resources for the economics community.
We are a nonprofit corporation based in Maryland and a 501(c)(3) public charity.

History
The Economic Research Organization (ERO) was founded in 2020 to support research, education, and collaboration in economics. Originally launched as a project under the Open Collective Foundation, we provided early support for initiatives like sigecom (the ACM’s Special Interest Group in Economics) and econtwitter.net (a Mastodon instance for the economics community).
Governance
Our board runs the organization according to its articles of incorporation and bylaws. These documents and our IRS determination letter are available on our transparency page.
