Become an Affiliate

We welcome eligible economists to become affiliates of the Economic Research Organization. Becoming an affiliate is currently completely free, though we may add an application fee in the future. Affiliates will be able to access our research resources, participate in our events, and include their affiliation in their research and other projects.

Affiliation with the Economic Research Organization is not intended to be prestigious, but does certify that you meet our eligibility requirements.

How to apply

To apply for affiliation, email a copy of your CV to join@econresearch.org.

Eligibility requirements

To become an affiliate, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1. Hold a PhD or be a PhD candidate (in any field) and have at least one economics publication in a recognized economics journal.
  2. Hold a PhD in economics and work for an employer that produces economic research (i.e., listed in EDIRC). This condition is met even if you no longer work for that employer, as long as you were employed there after obtaining your PhD.
